Scrap That! April Reveal & Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap That! Reveal & March blog hop!!
If you have arrived here from Janis's blog, then you are in the right place! If not, then head back to the Scrap That! Blog and join in on the fun!

Here is the much anticipated reveal of the April Scrap That! kit! Packed with the latest newly released papers from Bo Bunny "Gabrielle". So today I am going to share with you the projects I created using the April "Madame Butterfly" Kit.

This month, PageMaps has joined hands with Scrap That!, they have created a sketch exclusively for this kit. It's gorgeous! And I loved creating this layout with it!
PageMaps sketch:

My take:
The picture is a recent one of my kids, love these little rascals!

We received one of the new Prima masks in the kit. I glimmer misted the screen then used it as a stamp...below is the result, it wasn't a clean & crisp stamped image but I liked how it turned out, the distressed look was perfect for these papers.

Here is the 2nd layout I made with this kit.
As soon as I took this picture of my daughter-I instantly fell in love with it. She looks so beautiful! I knew these papers would be perfect for this picture, soft and shabby.

So as you can see---there is a DUSTY ATTIC piece in the kit! Divine!! LOVE IT!!!
I crackle painted it, inked the edges with Coral Chalk ink and top it off by adding Stickles to the bottom portion of the skirt.

Onto the 3rd layout.
We received a package of Kaisercraft doilies, which seem to be huge right now! I went with a more circular-based design on this layout, inspired by the doilies. =)

We also got a bottle of Aqua Perfect Pearls....I was a happy camper when I saw these and I love using it. They make the most perfect round pearls on your projects.

Alright, here is my last full layout.
The die cut paper from this collection has got to be my fave die cut pp to date. Its gorgeous!
Here is a closeup of the Prima flowers--newly released this Winter. They're beautiful and matched so perfectly to these papers.

Check out the Kaisercraft butterfly chippie we also got in the kit! I lightly inked it with TH Walnut Stain Distress Ink, added a few perfect pearls, and stickled it up. =)

I had a few scraps, and it's quite hard for me to part with scraps when I know very well that I can make SOMETHING with them, therefore I made a card! Tada! =)
