Scrap That! Nov Kit Reveal and Blog Hop

Hello ladies.

Its the end of October! Time for a reveal day from Scrap That! for their gorgeous GORGEOUS November "Putting on the Glitz" kit featuring the Glitz Vintage Blue collection. These papers are to die for beautiful- in fact the entire kit is divine!

Today I’m going to share with you my project using the Scrap That! November “Putting on the Glitz” Kit. Its with a heavy heart that I say this- but I have decided that its time for me to step down from the ST team. Life has taken a few turns, other new things have started...its time for a change. Its been a pleasure having designed for ST since the moment they started. Thank you Lori! With having said that...here are my final projects....

Check out the gorgeous blooms- the vibrant blue one is gorgeous! St kits never fail to include the latest beautiful flowers.

Here is my second project with this kit. Showcasing a wedding photo of mine. Also included in the kit were a few My Minds Eye papers. I'm not a big fan of yellow but these papers will totally make you fall in love instantly!

The touches of glitter on the pages are perfect! Love the bling we got that perfectly coordinates with these papers.

Also included in the kit was this divine piece of Resin embellishment. You can easily paint it, mist it, I chose to just ink the edges, I loved the finish it alredy had so this piece is gorgeous as is.

Lastly, here she is. My last project **SNIFFLE SNIFFLE**.

This was made using the Glitz papers.

Scrap That! October Kit Reveal and Blog Hop

Today I’m going to share with you my projects using the Scrap That! October “Bella Rosa” Kit featuring the Prima Romantique Paper Collection.

Here is my first layout which features the Prima Romantique papers. {Pardon the horrible picture quality, it's been storming here for the last week an dhave had no good light to photo with.}

Check out the fabric flowers in the bottom left corner, made those out of organza using the Glubers included in the kit. Loved using it, made it so easy to create those blooms.

We also got...my fave...a bottle of gold liquid pearls.

For my 2nd layout, its showcasing the IOD Provencial papers also included in the kit. We also received some cream lace in the kit, which you could subtly see in this layout as well as my last.

And my last project using this gorgeous kit!!

Its of my little man. I felt these papers matched this photo PERFECTLY. Lots of liquid pearl work on this one. I know, I know, blooms on a boy layout, but its because they were sooo pretty, I couldnt help but to use them. As long as he doesnt see this page when he gets older, it'll be alright!

Scrap That! September Kit Reveal & Blog Hop

Welcome to the reveal of Scrap That!'s September "Birdsong" kit, as well as our great blog hop!

Today I’m going to share with you my project using the Scrap That! Exclusive Pion Design “Birdsong” Kit.

Here is my first layout.

The papers in this kit are beautiful, shabby chic and soooo gorgeous, from PION Design.

Here is a closeup, beautiful pearl swirl bling, included in the kit.

As for my 2nd layout(my fave). Lots of layers and flowers. The photo is of my husband and I during our engagament photo session. Love this picture!

We also received a bottle of silver liquid pearls, that stuff is amazing! Great, quick way to add dimension to your layout.

Lastly, I created a card using my scraps. I had made a 3rd layout, but are you ready for this?! READY????...my dog ate it! No seriously, my stinkin' dog demolished my project which the cats mustve knocked off the table. =( Never thought I would use that excuse as an adult..but my time has come. lol So it left me to create a card in place of the layout. =)

Scrap That! August kit & Blog Hop

Today I’m going to share with you my project using the Scrap That! August Kit.

First off I made this layout using the BoBunny Timepiece papers in the kit. Check out the corrugated cardboard...love that stuff!!

We received these gorgeus Dusty Attic corners in the kit, I inked it with a walnut brown then finished with touches of Distressed Stickles, which also came in the kit. Love the subtle effect of these stickles.

My 2nd layout was based off a sketch exclusively created by LG for the August kit. I loved the simplicity to the sketch, allowed me to try something very different from my usual style.

These papers are from IOD's beautiful "Wild Spirit" collection.

Alright and for my final layout to share with you today....

These papers are also from the same IOD line. =) Goes to show that these papers dont HAVE to be used with Horse or cowboy themed pictures! Ha! :p

Scrap That! August Kit Sneak Peek

Hey everyone!

Soooo here I have a little sneaky peek of the Scrap That! August "Somewhere in Time" kit. It is totally beautiful!! Stay tuned for the full reveal on Friday the 29th as well as our blog hop kickin off that day too!

Before I leave you, I have some exciting news for you.

So we have added a few new DT member to the Scrap That! DT.

First off, Shona Keehn will be our new Design Team Coordinator-total sweetheart that will rock keeping evrything in place and smooth going.

Then we added 2 new designers to the team! You guys will recognize the names!!....Tina Rutledge and Robin Shakoor-amazing addition to the team! Congrats to all the ladies!

Scrap That! June Reveal & Blog Hop

Today I'm going to share with you projects using the Scrap That! June "Afternoon Tea" kit, featuring the beautiful Webster's Pages "Ladies and Gents" paper collection.

Here is my first layout, the picture was taken earlier this month from our vacation to Georgia/Florida, this was taken in Cumberland Island-such a gorgeous little Island in Georgia. This layout was made entirely with the Main kit contents. =)

Earlier this week I was inspired by Tomoko to use my border punch in a new way, punch your border then crinkle it up a bit before adhering to your page...creates great dimension.

Check out the lovely Dusty Attic clock that came in the kit! Gorgeous! I simply painted it with cream acrylic paint then touched up the edges with brown ink.












As for my 2nd layout, a more simple design with a basic flower cluster as my main touch.

Love the green and teal color combo with this one... I kept the design of this one more simple to allow the picture to be the center of focus as there is alot of greenery in the picture.

The technique item in this kit was "flower soft", my first time playing with this stuff and oh so very cool! Great texture to add to flowers!! Here you can see a closeup of the flower soft on the blooms. Awesome, right?!

Here's my 3rd layout using this kit. Ok ok ok first off, this color combo is sooooo not my usual type. I normally go for neutrals..um bright pink/lime green..FAR from neutrals! But you know what? I loved it!! Its so bright and fun!

Scrap That! & The Color Room #58

This month as part of Scrap That!'s 1 year anniversary, the kit club has joined hands with The Color Room. TCR has kindly made color palettes that coordinate with Scrap That!'s May kit.

This week I got to play along with TCR #58-Sun Room.

Loved the soft colors in this... perfect for the project I wanted to work on.

I made the layout below for a gal I work with, she is pregnant and soooo ready to pop- in 2 wks as a matter of fact. One of the other gals at work did a mini shoot for her, so I just edited a few pictures and made her this layout as a gift.

The papers are Prima "Botanical".

Here is a closeup of the blooms that came with the kit.

The Dusty Attic "French Flourish" {DA0273} is from my stash, I did however alter it with the Blue Smoke Perfect Pealrs Mist that came with the kit.

Scrap That! May Kit Reveal & Anniversary Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scrap That! May Kit Reveal and Anniversary Blog Hop!
Starting today the 26th at 10 AM MST and ending May 28th at Midnight.

Today I am going to share with you my projects using the Scrap That! May "Romantic Spring" kit featuring the gorgeous "Butterfly Garden" paper collection from Pink Paislee.

Here is my first layout. Absolutely beautiful papers! I fussy cut the scalloped circles from one of the papers.

We received another bottle of Liquid Pearls in the kit, lovin' that stuff, I used it on the circles in this layout, its a great quick dimensional touch to your projects.

A closeup of the beautiful Webster's Pages blooms, for the smaller Prima cream flower in the corner, I wanted it to coordinate alittle better, so I simply took a q-tip, wet it a bit, dipped in a chalk ink and dabbed the center of the flower.

Here is my 2nd layout.
Also featuring the Butterfly Garden papers, for this layout, I chose the more softer pastel colors in the papers. Which matched perfectly with the blooms in the kit.

Ok lastly, here is my 3rd layout using this gorgeous kit.
We also received a Prima Mistable Canvas sheet! Ecstatic to see this! Along with a bottle of Perfect Pearls Mist. I went to town misting this baby and fell in love with the result! I mixed the blue mist we received in the kit with a green mist I had in my stash.

Here is the Dusty Attic piece you will LOVE, in the kit-oh yeah! I glimmer misted mine with brown, you can just see how well the shimmer shows on the chipboard! And the background on the canvas--super shimmery, this layout IRL is UNREAL!

Love the details on this canvas, you don't have to do much and it looks amazing
