Guest Design--TidBitz in Time Kit

So I am pleased to announce that Wendy from TidBitz in Time Kit Club, extended me an offer to Guest Design using her December "Holiday Style" kit. As soon as I received my package, I was anxious to play. This kit features the gorgeous papers from the Bo Bunny "Noel" collection, also included in the kit were pretty velvet Maya Road flowers and beautiful trims.

Stuck?! Sketches joined hands with TidBitz in Time this month, meaning we usedthe wonderful sketches with this months gorgeous kit.=)
I have been given permission to release the Dec. 1st sketch a few days early. Here it is!
And here was my take.

Check out the beautiful papers!!!

All the flowers were made from the papers in the collection, using my retro flower punch.
The center green velvet flower came from the package of Maya Road flowers in the kit. Note: the Zva bling came from my stash.

Also included in the kit, was a 12x12 sheet of Noel chipboard stickers.

Here is a second layout using this kit. This one is based off the 2nd Stuck?! sketch, although I can't quite yet release the sketch itself. =)
I had recently bought this porcelain Santa and Jayden just loved him, so I snapped a few pictures, as soon as I took this one, I KNEW I would be using these papers for it.

Using the coordinated clear stamps for this collection(also in the kit), I lightly stamped sporadically through out the layout. Here are a couple of closeups.

I cut apart the Noel flower trim in the kit, to make my flower cluster, but of course!! Love those pins we got too! Beautiful!

Lastly, here is my last layout using this kit. The design is my very own. The picture is of my mother and I last Christmas.

Here are a few more closeups on the chipboard pieces.

Stop by TidBitz in Time to grab pick up a kit!!! Also, be sure to stop by Stuck?! in the next few days to check out what the gals did with the Dec. 1st sketch. =)

Goodnight!

Scrap That! December Kit Reveal

Its Reveal Day for the Scrap That! December "Holiday Magic" kit!!
Let me just tell you, if you are looking for a christmas kit, this is the kit for you!! It is GORGEOUS, featuring the IOD "Night Divine" papers, paired with the beautiful Prima blooms. It is perfect for those holiday pictures! Or even non traditional layouts as well.

Here's my first layout using this kit. This is Nicole last year helping trim the tree. The papers were PERFECT for the tones in this picture.

Check out the beautiful BoBunny trim. So elegant. And those IOD cardstock stickers. For the little red flowers, here's the tutorial by Gabrielle. Try it out, if you haven't already. Once you do, you will be hooked! The pearl centers in the flowers, were originally white, I simply painted them with Creative Inspirations paint in Gold. =)

Also included in the kit, was this divine Prima branch.

Here's my 2nd layout. Last Christmas was Jayden's first and he absolutely loved opening all his gifts. he was in awe by everything. I am surprised he kept his Santa hat on the whole time. lol.

Scrap That! kits never fail to include some of the most beautful Prima flowers.

We also got a Prima stamp in the kit, which I used sporadically in some areas. I prestamped some of the ink off first before stamping my layout. I was going for the slight faded look. That way it blended in with the paper better.

I am telling you, if you want a Christmas kit, this is the kit for you! So be sure to stop by Scrap That! and pick yourself up a kit, before they sell out.
Also check out what the rest of the design team ladies did with this kit. You can find the on the right sidebar of my blog.

For those of you who celebrate the holiday, I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Off to catch some zzz's before I black friday shop @ Old Navy!!!

**IOD**--Precious Miracle

Ok so this is exciting for me! My very first design team layout for IOD. I received their box full of such pretty goodies! I was like a little kid opening a present...."ooooh....ahhh" lol.

I found this picture of Nikki when she was only 2 days old and I knew I would use the oh so cute "Lullaby Girl" collection for this one.

I decided to use some of the patterned paper to make the flowers.=) Using my all time fave flower punch..the Retro Flower.

If you want to recreate this flower, here is the tutorial for it. Super easy!

Here's a closeup on the beautiful cardstock stickers thatgo with this collection.

I also used a few of my Creative Inspirations Shimmer paints, to paint the flowers I cut out from one of the sheet. I used Green Olive on the leaves, Sunshine for the center and lastly Rose Quartz for the petals, super shimmery and pretty!!

Well hope you enjoy this one! If you haven't bought this line yet, I suggest you do!!! I loved it!!

Stuck?! Sketch Reveal--November 15th

Well it's half way thru November...wow! That is just crazy!! I have been quite neglectful of my blog...BUT it's because I have been working on lots of stuff lately=) Scrappy stuff! I got my box FULL of IOD goods and have been playing with those, and something else that I can't quite share yet...but soon enough. =)

Well being tomorrow is the 15th, this means its time to share the 2nd Stuck?! Sketch for this month.

Here's my layout using the sketch.
The papers are from Bo Bunny Mama-Razzi.

The fabric flowers are Petaloo, the papers flowers were made with my retro flower punch(which I must admit have been sooo stuck on making these.) They're so easy and you can easily match them to your layout.

Stop by here to check out what the other Stuck?! gals did with this sketch.
Oh and check back tomorrow!!...I will have something else to share!
See you then...

Back to School--First Grade

Just popping in real quick to share a layout I had made a while ago, just haven't had time to post it.

It's good ol' Nikki on the first day of school this year(1st grade). She took it upon herself to pick out her whole outfit. Her headband to match her outfit...and wanted to pose just like this! lol She is sooo sassy..love her!

I used my Cosmo Cricket "Fleuriste" paper collection for this layout, which I'd have to say is my all time fav collection of theirs.

I glimmer misted the doiley with one of my favorite colors..Graphite.

Here is a closeup on the flower cluster.

Ok, off to do another load of laundry...argh lol.
Hope you all have a fab day!
((HUGS))

Stuck?! Sketch--November 1st

I haven't been too attentive to my blog for a bit...something very tragic has happened to someone very close to me. It has hit very close to home...time will heal the pain/sadness we are feeling.

On a lighter note, it's time to reveal the November 1st Stuck?! Sketch.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.
The picture was taken by one of the photographers at our wedding. LOVE the way the sun is beaming down between us.

Here is a closeup...Love these G45 Le Romantique papers..perfect for wedding layouts.

Well that is it.
Quick post before I head to bed.

Just got news that my IOD dt goodies are on their way!!
So soon enough I will share that=)
Thanks for stopping by.

P.S...never take anyone in your life for granted. Tell them you love them many times because you never know when your time with them is up.

*Creative Inspirations*--Halloween Tag

So I know Halloween is over and all, but I wanted to show you a quick tag I made,. And of course....I used some of my Creative Inspirations paints on it=)

I accented the pumpkin with Mango. The "fright night" is a stamp, which instead of using ink o stamp, I simply painted my stamp with Onyx paint and stamped it.=) I also painted my little skeleton guy with Onyx, you can catch some of the shimmer in the top right corner.

Well I hope you all had a wonderful safe Halloween.
Catch ya next time. =)

((HUGS))
