Girly Girl...**Scrap That! Nov. Kit**

Here's another layout made using the beautiful Scrap That! November Kit...featuring the gorgeous Pink Paislee "Parisian Anthology" papers..love these!!

For this one, I inked the paper with Tim Holtz Pumice Stone & touches of Black Soot..then lightly glimmer misted with Patina.

Here is a closeup of the resistence on the paper...one word...GORGEOUS!

I used the Parisian pleated ribbon to make flowers, using one of their stunning rhinestone brooches as a center. Can you imagine attaching this flower to a purse...hmm there's an idea! ;)

Check out the latest bling from Prima..with touches of lace...out of this worl beautiful!

Well hope you enjoyed this layout...stop by Scrap That! to pick up your very own Nov. kit before they sell out!

My little pirates are getting anxious..going to do a mini bbq w/ our neighbor then off to trick or treat.

Be safe everyone!
Happy Halloween!!

Scrap That! November Kit Reveal!!!

Alright! It's that time again! Time to reveal the November Scrap That! Kit.
Full of the latest and greatest release from Pink Paislee "Parisian Anthology" line, and some My Minds Eye "Portobello Road" to tickle your fancy. =) The embellies that come in this kit will have you drooling, they are so gorgeous!

As some of you may know, my daughter just turned 7. I took her to a lake near by and snapped some shots on her birthday=) So You will be seeing lots of these pictures...some repeats=) LOVE how they turned out.

Here are a few closeups of the above layout.
Scrap That! never fails to throw in some of the most beautiful Prima blooms...which is my weakness :p
I cut the banner out from one of the MME papers and used it as part of my title.

I just loved the glittery goodness of the MME pps...so pretty!

For my 2nd layout, I used the sketch exclusively designed for the November kit, designed by LG Belarmino. I always enjoy working with her wonderful sketches.
This layout features the beautiful Pink Paislee papers.

I used Patina Glimmer Mist to alter my paper. Here you can see some of the resistance from the embossed images on the papers.

Got some pretty glittery Thicker alphas...I loved the drastic contrast from the black title on the light colored layout. Oooh and check out the G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S ribbon!!

Later this week I will have another layout to share using this kit. So keep your eye out for that one.
Stop by Scrap That! to get your fix with this kit!
K off to bed for me now!

Bloom

This is a picture of my daughter that was taken in Idaho this past summer. I caught her watering my mother in laws LITTLE garden, thought it was so cute, so i was quick to catch the shot.

Papers are from Prima "Flights of Fancy".

I tried something new, I cut out a butterfly from a patterned paper and used it as a mask with glimmer mist.

I added some Diamond Dust to the alphas.

Well that's it for now!
Be sure to come back on Tuesday, the 26th. It'll be reveal day for the Scrap That! November kit!!!
Have a great night.

*Creative Inspirations*--Shine

Hey ladies. Here I am blogging on a work night lol, it is waaaay past my bedtime and I sure am feeling it.
So real quick...here's a DT layout I made in which I used one of my Creative Inspirations Shimmer paints.

Shine
My kid is getting too big, she just turned 7 on the 14th :p

The two pieces I altered with my CI paints(frame and bird) are from a dear friends, Lidia's newly opened Etsy. They are pieces made of Polymer clay and absolutely gorgeous! If you have not visited her little shoip yet, be sure to, you will surely find something you will like.=)
I painted them using Winter Frost, a beautiful white pearl shimmer.

Have I mentioned I LOVE these paints~!
I am working on a cute Halloween Door Tag...I shall share soon! :p
Alright that's it. Short and sweet=)
Goodnight
And as always, thank you so so so much for taking time to visit.

Follow Your Heart

My best friend will be moving back to New Jersey next Monday.=( She is born and raised there. Well she has reached a point in her life when NJ is calling for her again. She is engaged! To a childhood friend, they have known each other since they were LITTLE LITTLE, never felt romantically about each other, she moved here in her early twentys, hadn't seen each other in over 7 yrs, he flew out here and they INSTANTLY connected, dated and then he proposed, well now it's time for her to be alittle closer to him. She is a bit nervous about the move.

I made her this layout, of her and her fiance. I thought the title was perfect for what her emotions are right now. I know she will be happy there, I will truly miss her. She's been thru sooooo much with me, she's stuck with me thru my crazy times, she dealt with me, my heart aches, my ups, my downs, my embarrassing moments, she was my ULTIMATE secret keeper:p, when I was mad, she was mad with me, when I was sad, she was there to bring me up. There won't ever be another gal that could take her place. No matter how many thousands of miles she may be from me, she will always be in my heart.

All papers are from Glitz "Distressed Couture". Love the chipboard stickers!

I used a doiley on this one along with a neat technique as to altering it, per the very talented doiley fanatic Tara Orr.=) I painted it w/ acrylic paint, love the look, so rich in color.

Ever since I learned to make this super easy flower, I seem to be stuck on them. If I don't have a coordinating Prima bloom for my project, I don't fret any longer, just take a sec and make one of these! Thanks Gabbi for the tutorial!!

I have shadow boxed this layout and it's ready to give to her.=)

Hope you all enjoyed this one!
Have a great night! Off to clean the dishes, put laundry away and head to bed.
Night everyone.
((HUGS))

There is a NEW Etsy Shop!!!

So I have some exciting news for you guys! There is a new Etsy shop in town! The creator of this, surely you know by now, she is the wonderfully talented Lidia!! She has been putting together this enormous project and finally released it today!! Let me tell you, this little shop will blow your mind. All her pieces are handmade, one of a kind, truly UNIQUE pieces. Here's the link to her BLOG and to her ETSY as well.

I was fortunate enough to get to play with some of the things she has made.
Here's the layout to showcase them!

Her pieces are from polymer clay and baked to perfection! Check this bow out, isn't it gorgeous! I simply altered it with some paint. =)

Here's another piece, a beautiful, intricate frame. The buttons below the frame are from her shop as well.

Be sure to take a minute to stop by Lidia's new little shop, I'm positive you will find something that will tickle your fancy. ;)

*Creative Inspirations*--From the Heart Card

So first off, I am NOT a card maker by ANY means. I sat down and made the card below and am sooo loving it!!

The papers are from My Mind's Eye "Bella Bella" line. I also played with some of my Creative Inspirations Shimmer paints for this one. Love those little pots of paints!

For the sentiment, I painted the entire piece of cardstock with Carmel shimmer paint, then stamped the sentiment. Love the shimmer on this!

I also used the same color to accent the swirls and tulips on the patterned paper.

Well that's it! Off to bed I go!
I shall have more to share tomorrow=)

Goodnight.

Holiday Wonder

Ah!! I made a christmas layout, am I making you anxious over the holiday creeping up? Because I secretly am, with as fast as the time seems to be going, Christmas will be here before you know it!!

This picture is of my son last year in our front yard, this tree was exactly his size and he was totally loving it. He could finally take in the awe of all the christmas lights...you have to love the fun that kids bring to the holidays.

All papers in this layout are from Bo Bunny "St. Nick" collection.

Did some fussy cutting of the holly. Fussy cutting is such a pain but the end result is always nice. Not everything comes easy =)

Here I go with that faded script stamping again. When I get stuck on something, I REALLY get stuck I suppose.

Well hope you enjoyed this layout.

*Stuck?! Sketch Reveal*-October 1st

Its October already! Where did September go, is MY question. Holy cow!
Well a new month brings a new sketch courtesy of Stuck?! Here is the October 1st sketch.

My take:
I kept this one relatively simple. The picture is of Jayden and his great grandpa in Idaho. He absolute adores this little boy. I am so glad I had my camera handy to catch this moment as it's one that my grandson will treasure when he is older.
The layout is my fave combo of Graphic 45 & Tim Holtz embellishments. The two never fail me.=)

For the alphas, I simply painted them with acrylic paint and used Glossy Accents to achieve the dimesional look.

A closeup of my cluster, lol not a flower cluster but I HAD to have my usual cluster one way or another. =)

Stop by Stuck?! to check out the other takes on this sketch. Check out the 8.5x10 takes from the 2 new CT members! Awesome layouts all around.
